Diaverum Top Management Leadership Program
Dag Andersson — CEO and President of Diaverum, a leading global renal care company

Diaverum

At the start of 2008, Diaverum, a leading global renal care company, was acquired by private equity company Gambro, and its leadership team found itself facing new challenges and many changes to its corporate culture. In an effort to enhance cooperation among the country management and executive teams, Dag Andersson sought out and met with various executive leadership service providers, among them the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®).

"I decided to start a journey with the country management and executive teams to make sure they were both well-equipped for tackling these challenges and thus ensuring a smooth transition," says Andersson.

While many of the providers he met were more nationally focused, only CCL offered experience in working with international organizations managing multinational staffs — making it unique among competitors. "Both my HR directors and myself shared the same, immediate preference for CCL," continues Andersson.

Over two years later, Andersson and his HR directors at Diaverum remain confident in their decision to partner with CCL and plan to continue utilizing its Top Management, country management and executive leadership programs.

"Of course times are tougher today and we are facing an uncertain future in Europe," says Andersson. "But leadership is always more tested in difficult times and at least I know that my team is well-prepared with the right skills and competences to successfully navigate this storm."
