CCL Succession Management Study Wins Global Award

World Diversity Leadership Summit

14 March 2011 - Brussels - The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) has been selected for a major award from the World Diversity Leadership Summit - Europe (WDLS-EU) for its High Impact Succession Management work.

"The European Diversity Leadership (EDL) Honours go to companies with outstanding and trendsetting strategies, research findings and best practices in leveraging and promoting diversity and inclusion in key leadership positions," says Beatrice Achaleke, WDLS-EU Organizer and Conference Manager. "CCL's methodology for succession management at all levels of leadership is an excellent example for recruitment and retention in the 21st century."

"CCL is committed to creating new knowledge that transforms the way leaders, their organizations and their societies confront the most difficult challenges of our times," states CCL's President John Ryan, who will accept the award at the EDL Honours Reception on the 24th of March in Vienna. "Giving leaders the tools to nurture and increase diversity is an important part of this mandate. We are proud that our work has been recognized by a group with the gravitas and reputation of WDLS-EU."

Karen Addison, CCL-EMEA's Director of Design & Implementation, will present one of CCL's newest programs — Boundary Spanning Leadership — on the 25th of March at WDLS-EU's Summit in Vienna. "Globalization requires leveraging different knowledge bases and diverse backgrounds to achieve value-creating innovations," Addison observes. "I'm looking forward to sharing CCL's methodology currently being used by companies and organizations around the world to bridge divides, solve complex problems and drive innovation."
